Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of the gas station; Manage staff and assign duties; Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors’ operations on sales; Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies; Develop and implement marketing strategies;
Utilize and cooperate with required customer appreciation and incentive programs;
Resolve customer complaints;
Determine staffing requirements and hire or oversee hiring of staff;
Orientate each new hire on the basics of the facility and explain the training schedule;
Enforce all corporate, local, and state policies and procedures;
Create and maintain employee schedules;
Review timecards and employee schedules, ensure all shifts are covered;
Meet budgeted productivity while keeping quality consistently high;
Enforce progressive discipline policy with counseling sessions and written warnings when necessary.
